Global payment solutions company, EML, will relocate its North American corporate headquarters to Aspiria in Overland Park, Kansas. The company signed an 11,773 square-foot lease at the corporate campus.

EML will occupy the nearly 12,000 square feet on the fourth floor of building 6100. The group is working with Occidental Management representatives to update the space and create its own unique working environment. It plans to move into the new space in April 2022. 

Hunter Johnson, Occidental Management Vice President of Sales and Leasing, says the addition of EML to Aspiria shows the flexibility of the corporate campus. 

“Aspiria is truly a one of-a-kind property in Kansas City and across the country,” said Johnson. “We can offer a custom office space solution with our amenities, technology, and blank-canvas approach to our potential tenant’s space that is unmatched anywhere else.”

Companies across the country are beginning to bring their employees back to the office on adjusted schedules. Property owners are seeing the urgency to have adaptable space for different working environments.

“Aspiria is giving companies a new level of flexibility in making the move back to the office,” said Occidental Management President Chad Stafford. “We are doing everything we can to make Aspiria the go-to destination for companies looking to provide something unique to offer their returning employees.”

Property owner Occidental Management has made recent changes and additions to the campus including bringing the RideKC bike share program to Overland Park. New features like this have led to an increase in companies seeking a new space to call home including recent leasees TreviPayCreativeOne, Yellow Corp., and TTEC Holdings.

Kansas City is our North America corporate location with more than 100 team members in the area, with plans to expand and hire. In addition to the already developed 140 acres of land on which the existing Aspiria campus is built, Occidental Management has put forward plans to create a live, work, play destination on the additional 60 acres surrounding the existing campus at the corner of 119th Street and Nall Avenue. 

Once fully developed, the area will have an additional 1 million square feet of class A office space, 380,000 square feet of mixed-use retail and restaurant space, a 120-room hotel and 600 multifamily units, creating a truly inclusive hub of life and business in the Midwest. Design planning on the long-term project has already begun, and space is available for lease in the New Offices At Aspiria.
